The fully trained Control Room Staff then immediately receive a set of live pictures showing them the reason for the activation. Our client's systems range from stand alone fixed static cameras connected via ISDN lines to multi domes and Tilt Pan and Zoom cameras via a secure (ADSL) broadband connection. Once connected to our Control Centre all alarms and images are recorded and kept on our system for a total of 31 days after this in keeping with the data protection act all images are deleted.
Once a intruder is confirmed by the Control Centre we have a number of procedures in place to deter the offender from entering your premises. Firstly we recommend that all our installations are fitted with on site public address system. This enables us to talk and inform the offender that he is on private property and if he chooses to ignore the Control Centre then we would go to stage two in our procedures and inform the Police.
The role of the Controller then changes again to evidence gathering purposes ie description of the person, clothing, and any vehicle being used at the time of the offence being carried out. Whilst communicating with the Police we confirm that intruders are on site and give them full details of location, how many persons, and are weapons being used we are obliged to pass this information on to the Police to enable them to safely apprehend suspects.

Using this system it gives our operators high resolution pictures so we can identify intruders with an exact description for the local authorities.
